Your limit is the most you will pay: the shown price only beats the next highest limit by the step (a tie goes to the earlier limit). A limit can be raised at any time, lowered only down to the shown price, never taken back. While you hold the top bid, your limit and the first day's rent are held in your character's bank. The winner pays the shown price and the first day's rent when the auction ends. Premium accounts only; one house per account.
